*****According to an article by Dr. Joseph Mercola, flushing your sinuses may be an effective way to inhibit the progression of a virus such as SARS-CoV-2 by lowering the viral load in your sinuses. When our daughter was younger, she experienced as many as five sinus infections a year until we discovered the neti pot. She began using it twice daily and we’re happy to say she hasn’t had a sinus infection since! The only thing we would add is we use 1/8 tspn non-iodized salt (kosher salt with no additives is best) in each flushing with 4 ounces of water.
